I went to staples and picked up some green and yellow plastic folders. The color, i thought, would be easy to c through so the light would shine through folders. I liked the combination of green and yellow just because they were such bright colors. The dedacohedron was easy to make. I stapled the sides inside so the attachment looked clean. The last stapling was very hard because i had to get my stapler inside the dedacohedron to staple. It can be hanging or standing up. The top of the lam looked undone so i decided to add flowers cut out from red folder and change to top of the lamp completely to allow for better ventilation. The closure can come off in order to replace the light bulb whenever needed because it can be easily untied. Two sides close in red bows. I replaced the light bulb with 40watts from 75W because the previous bulb was overheating the lamp.

3d Metamorphasis series
My inspiration was a queen statue. I did five sculptures that grew from a queen chess piece to a queen statue. It was hard to work with clay because i never worked with clay before... It was very annoying to wait for my sculptures to dry, they took a long time, like 2 days. The sculptures were then gessoed after being sanded down once they were dry. Then i painted them in grayscale adding a gradient yellow and a gradient purple throughout 5 sculptures. Second to the last sculpture did not demonstrate a transition so i had to repaint it to get 50% step between two other steps. The crown becomes more chromatic in contrast with yellow hair so we can see the sculptures from a distance better. At the end, i sprayed the figures with clear glaze so they would be very shiny!!!

Terra Cycle Container Design part 1 and 2
Experimenting with material gave me a basic idea of how to connect certain material and how flexible it is. My inspiration was an art kit. I like the idea of shelves in a container. My container uses contrasting colors and opens up through unfolding. Inside is a place to store little materials in relation to knitting or art. It's up to the viewer to interpret. The sides are made of straws because it allures the observer to look inside. The handle is more sturdier now.

Serial planes- volumetric transformations
My inspiration was trees and birds. I picked color paper related to those themes and glued the materials that I picked on it. It was very messy so I had to spray my planes with spray glue to keep them from falling apart. Big illustration board definitely worked better allowing better spacial distribution for the design.

Platonic solids
These solids required measuring, use of compass and a protractor. As long as the measurements were accurate, the solid came together perfectly, with all edges fitting together neatly.

Face, Edge and vertex treatment
I decided not to include color because this was already a busy solid. Face treatments include floral and basket elements. I used bristol board, exacto knife and scissors.
